An important fishery in central Ohio, Hoover Reservoir was once only accessible by a gravel launch ramp. Fortunately, a partnership between The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and the City of Columbus enabled major improvements to automobile, trailer, and boat access to the reservoir. 

A widened access road, newly paved parking lot, LED lighting street lamps, and a newly installed concrete boat ramp with floating dock have all enhanced usability around this recreational water source.
